Experienced Domestic Couple – Private Country Estate near Ghent, Belgium

For a private family of three living on a spacious country estate near Ghent, Belgium, we are looking for an experienced and reliable domestic couple for a long-term position, starting as soon as possible.

An established household team, including a private chef and additional household staff, is already in place.

Housekeeper

• Organisation and upkeep of the household, including bedrooms and bathrooms

• Shopping and errands in coordination with the private chef

• Coordination with the existing household staff

• Looking after the family's apartment on the Belgian coast

• Assistance with table service, luggage and occasional guest service

Estate Caretaker / All-rounder

• General oversight of the estate and its buildings

• Identifying maintenance and repair needs and coordinating external contractors

• Driving duties and errands, including driving the 12-year-old son when required

• Practical and organisational support around the estate and during occasional meetings or guest visits

• Dog sitting and general support with day-to-day tasks

Your Profile

• Proven experience in a comparable position as a housekeeper couple within an upscale private household

• Reliable, discreet, well organised and proactive working style

• Good English or French

• Driving licence and confident driving skills required for at least one person; ideally both

• Flexibility for occasional evening and weekend duties, approximately twice per month

We Offer

A long-term position with a separate house on the estate

The gross monthly salary per person is €4,000. A higher salary is possible depending on experience and qualifications.
